Before You Light a Crystal. Before You Begin a Ritual. Before You Enter Your Sacred Space — Clear the Energy First.

Every spiritual practice, every crystal healing session, every meditation, every new beginning — deserves a clean slate. Not just physically clean. Energetically clean.

For thousands of years, across cultures and continents — from the indigenous traditions of South America to the ancient healing practices of the Americas and beyond — two sacred plants have been used to do exactly that. To cleanse spaces, clear negative energy, and invite fresh, positive vibrations into any environment.

Palo Santo. White Sage.

Two of the most revered energy cleansing tools on earth — now available at Bellarosa Gems, for those who take their spiritual practice seriously.

The Two Sacred Cleansers — What They Are & How They Work:

🌿 Sage — The Ancient Space Purifier

White Sage has been used for centuries as one of the most powerful tools for energy cleansing. When burned, Sage releases a dense, aromatic smoke that has been traditionally used to clear spaces of stagnant, heavy, or negative energy — leaving the environment feeling lighter, cleaner, and energetically fresh.

Use Sage when:

You move into a new home or office
After an argument or emotionally heavy event in your space
Before and after crystal healing or Reiki sessions
When your home feels heavy, dull, or energetically stuck
At the start of a new chapter in life — a new job, a new relationship, a new intention

The smoke of burning Sage does not just clear the air — it resets the energy of an entire space. What remains after a Sage cleansing is silence, clarity, and a sense of calm that you can feel the moment you walk in.

🌳 Palo Santo — The Holy Wood of Positive Energy

Palo Santo — which translates from Spanish as "Holy Wood" — is a sacred tree native to South America, revered for centuries by indigenous healers and shamans for its deeply spiritual, grounding, and uplifting properties.

Unlike Sage, which primarily clears and removes energy, Palo Santo does something extraordinary — it replaces cleared energy with warmth, positivity, and a deep sense of peace. Its fragrance is unlike anything else — a sweet, warm, woody scent with hints of citrus and mint that instantly calms the mind and elevates the spirit.

Use Palo Santo when:

After cleansing with Sage — to fill the space with fresh, positive energy
Before meditation or spiritual practice — to deepen focus and intention
When you need to uplift the mood of a space or your own energy field
To cleanse and charge your crystals with warm, positive energy
As part of your daily morning ritual — to set a calm, intentional tone for the day

Together, Sage and Palo Santo form the most complete energy cleansing ritual available — one removes what no longer serves, the other fills the space with what you want to invite in.

How to Use — A Simple Cleansing Ritual:

For Sage: Light one end of the Sage bundle until it begins to smoke. Gently blow out the flame, allowing the smoke to flow freely. Move through your space slowly — allowing the smoke to reach every corner, doorway, and room. Set your intention as you cleanse — what energy are you releasing? What are you inviting in?

For Palo Santo: Light one end of the Palo Santo stick for 30 to 60 seconds, then gently blow out the flame. The stick will continue to glow and release its sacred fragrance as the smoke flows through your space. Move through your home or hold it near your crystals, your body, or your sacred space.

The classic ritual: Cleanse first with Sage. Then fill the space with Palo Santo. Begin your meditation, your crystal work, or your day — in a space that is both clear and charged.
